Jr. Sous Chef

About the Role

Alienkind is looking for a dynamic and experienced jr. Sous Chef to lead end-to-end kitchen operations. The role will be responsible for operational excellence, maintaining quality standards, managing kitchen teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day production while working closely with the Product & Innovation Team.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee complete kitchen operations across all departments.
- Supervise CDPs and ensure efficient management of each department.
- Maintain accurate daily opening and closing stock.
- Review and submit daily production reports on time.
- Manage the Kitchen Support Team (KST) and ensure smooth workflow.
- Lead, mentor and manage kitchen staff to maintain productivity and discipline.
- Handle operational challenges and resolve issues proactively.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely resolution of equipment and facility issues.
- Conduct daily staff briefings and communicate operational priorities.
- Approve attendance and leave requests as per company policies.




- Recruit and onboard Commis Chefs as per business requirements.
- Maintain food quality, hygiene, SOP compliance and kitchen safety standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the kitchen and the Product & Innovation Team.
- Share daily kitchen updates, operational concerns and performance reports.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
- 36 years of experience in a leadership role within QSR, cloud kitchen or restaurant operations.
- Strong leadership, team management and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of inventory control, production planning and food safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
