Skills

Technical skills: Knowledge of statistics, data mining, machine learning and optimization techniques at a minimum we are looking for regression, classification techniques, time series modeling, neural networks and linear optimization.

Analytical skills: Ability to interpret data and analysis results to derive actionable insights rather than only be able use tools.

Communication skills and teamwork: Must be comfortable working in an interdisciplinary team and interface with people from business, technical and software development backgrounds

Knowledge of JSON and XML file structures is necessary, as is intermediate knowledge of accessing data using SQL. Knowledge of a NoSQL database is a plus.

Very good skills in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of VBA is a bonus!

Education

A Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline, example Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.

Work experience

A minimum of 1 year fulltime work experience with demonstrable evidence of application of aforementioned skills requirements.
