Roles & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret structural, architectural, and fabrication drawings.
- Prepare accurate project cost estimates based on drawings and specifications.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material take-offs.
- Estimate steel, roofing, and other project material requirements.
- Optimize material consumption and project costs.
- Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project execution teams.
- Maintain estimation records, BOQs,
and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and company procedures.
- Total weight calculation based on site measurement.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and estimation.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- BOQ preparation and material estimation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
Educational Qualification Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience 2–4 years of relevant experience in structural steel fabrication, industrial projects, or estimation.
