Nature of Work:

Designing engineered building components using specialized software.

Producing detailed and accurate manufacturing documentation.

Working closely with production teams to ensure timely delivery and technical compliance.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for producing cost-effective computerized detailing of building components for production in accordance with customer requirements, legislative regulations, and company quality standards.
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings using design software to produce detailed manufacturing data conforming to company and Australian Building Standards.
- Maintain high standards of detailing output in terms of accuracy and timeliness, aligned with production schedules.




- Coordinate with sales and customers to ensure satisfaction with design deliverables.
- Carry out other duties as directed by the company.
- Specific Work Responsibilities:
- Ensure minimal rework through high-quality detailing.
- Produce cost-efficient detailing in line with client quotations.
- Review the work of peers when required.
- Consistently meet output targets and production deadlines.
- Liaise with production and dispatch teams to track job progress.
- Confirm design requirements with customers and internal teams.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints through coordinated corrective action.
- Calculate timber and hardware lists to support costing and estimation processes.
- Comply with all administrative and documentation standards of Timbertruss.

Required Skills: Knowledge of any design software

Solid interpretation of engineering drawings and attention to detail
