Applix is looking for a passionate Java Backend Developer with 4–8 years of experience in developing and supporting enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and Struts Framework, along with hands-on experience in application support, troubleshooting, and backend development. This role requires an individual who enjoys solving complex technical problems, maintaining business-critical applications, and working closely with product owners, QA engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise Java applications.

Develop robust backend components using Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and Struts Framework.

Understand business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

Build and consume REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.

Support production applications by troubleshooting issues and performing root cause analysis.

Resolve application defects and implement permanent fixes for recurring production issues.

Collaborate with QA teams during integration, regression, and UAT testing.

Participate in code reviews while following engineering standards and best practices.

Prepare technical documentation, design documents, and implementation guides.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.





Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful production deployments.

Support application modernization initiatives and continuous platform improvements.
