Role & responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management

- Manage the school's complete IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, telephony, CCTV, access control, and AV systems.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all IT systems across the campus.
- Monitor network performance and proactively address system issues.
- Plan infrastructure upgrades and technology enhancements based on school requirements.
- Maintain an updated inventory of all IT assets.

End User Support
- Provide IT support to teaching staff, administrative teams, leadership, students, and parents where applicable.
- Ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, network, email, and application-related issues.
- Establish and monitor IT helpdesk processes and service levels.
- Support classroom technology, smart boards, projectors, printers, and conferencing equipment.
- Ensure minimal disruption to academic activities.

School Applications & ERP Management
- Manage school ERP and learning platforms.
- Support admissions, finance, HR, transport, library, attendance, and examination modules.
- Coordinate with ERP vendors for upgrades, troubleshooting, and implementation.
- Ensure data integrity and smooth integration between systems.
- Train staff on effective use of school applications.

Cybersecurity & Data Protection
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies and controls.
- Manage firewalls, antivirus solutions, endpoint protection, email security, and access controls.
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery testing.
- Ensure confidentiality of student, parent, and employee data.
- Monitor security threats and respond to incidents promptly.
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness programmes for staff.

Classroom & Educational Technology
- Ensure seamless functioning of classroom technology.
- Support digital learning platforms and online assessment tools.
- Assist teachers with technology integration into classroom instruction.
- Coordinate IT support for school events,



assemblies, examinations, and hybrid learning environments.
- Evaluate emerging educational technologies for implementation.

Vendor & Asset Management
- Manage IT vendors, service providers, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
- Evaluate technology solutions and recommend improvements.
- Ensure timely procurement of IT equipment and software.
- Maintain software licensing compliance.
- Track warranties, renewals, and maintenance schedules.

IT Projects
- Lead implementation of current IT initiatives across the school.
- Manage infrastructure expansion, network upgrades, ERP implementations, cloud migrations, and technology refresh projects.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with school leadership and external vendors during project execution.

Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with school IT policies, cybersecurity standards, software licensing requirements, and data privacy regulations.
- Develop and maintain IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct periodic IT audits and infrastructure reviews.
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Budget & Administration
- Prepare and manage the annual IT budget.
- Monitor IT operating expenses and capital expenditure.
- Prepare monthly reports on IT performance, incidents, system availability, projects, and asset utilization.
- Maintain documentation of infrastructure, licenses, configurations, and policies.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience in CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE, or international schools.
- Exposure to Google Workspace for Education and/or Microsoft 365 Education.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Student Information Systems (SIS), transport GPS, biometric attendance, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Experience managing complete school IT infrastructure and educational technology.
- Hands-on experience with school ERP systems, networking, servers, cybersecurity, and user support.
- Experience managing IT vendors, projects, and budgets.
