Job Title: IT Intern – Hotel

Job Summary:

The IT Intern supports the hotel's Information Technology department by assisting with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of computer systems, networks, software, and technology-related services. This internship provides hands-on experience in hotel IT operations while ensuring staff can effectively use technology to deliver excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide first-level technical support to hotel staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting internet connectivity, email, and system-related problems.
- Support the maintenance of hotel management systems, including Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Help monitor network performance and report technical issues.
- Perform software updates, system backups, and antivirus checks.
- Maintain IT inventory and document technical issues and resolutions.
- Assist in setting up audiovisual equipment for meetings and events.




- Follow hotel IT security policies and maintain data confidentiality.
- Support senior IT staff with ongoing technology projects and preventive maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and computer hardware.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a hospitality environment.

Preferred Skills:

- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking.
- Knowledge of hotel software such as PMS or POS systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting printers, Wi-Fi, and user accounts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
