We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced In-Patient (IP) Billing Executive to manage hospital in-patient billing operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of hospital billing procedures, insurance claim processing, and government healthcare schemes while ensuring accurate and timely billing for patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and manage In-Patient (IP) billing accurately in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

- Verify patient information, treatment details, investigations, and services with clinical departments to ensure correct billing.

- Prepare and maintain accurate billing records, adjustments, and financial documentation.

- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other departments to resolve billing discrepancies.

- Handle insurance claim documentation and coordinate with Insurance TPAs for approvals, claims processing, and follow-ups.

- Manage billing related to CGHS, ECHS, corporate packages, and cashless insurance cases.

- Prepare final discharge estimates and ensure timely clearance of patient accounts before discharge.

- Assist patients and their families by explaining billing details, charges, and payment procedures.

- Generate billing reports and MIS for management review and financial analysis.





- Ensure compliance with hospital billing protocols, insurance regulations, and statutory requirements.

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and financial records.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and medical billing processes.

- Hands-on experience with Insurance TPA protocols, CGHS, ECHS, and corporate billing packages.

- Expertise in final discharge estimation and cashless claim processing.

- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree (Preferably B.Com, BBA, Accounting, Finance, or Healthcare Administration).

- 25 years of experience in In-Patient Billing within a hospital setting.

- Experience in handling insurance claims and government healthcare schemes is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with prior experience in multi-specialty hospitals.

- Strong understanding of Insurance TPA protocols, CGHS/ECHS schemes, package billing, and discharge estimation.

- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
