Company & Role Overview

Our Client - A Leading Private Bank is a top-tier financial institution renowned for its market-leading Wealth Management division.

Role Purpose: Drive strategic growth by enhancing the penetration of AIFs, PMS, and Mutual Funds. The role focuses on product innovation, aligning client expectations with regulatory frameworks, and acting as the key conduit between Product, Sales, Compliance, and Research teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Revenue Growth

· Achieve targeted AUM growth and drive sustained trail revenue through long-term client retention.

· Forecast and deliver on business budgets using high-impact investment propositions.

· Identify emerging trends to create new product leverage across HNI/UHNI segments.

2. Product Strategy & Governance

· Conceptualize and design innovative structures (Cat II AIFs, Niche PMS/MF themes).

· Develop clear positioning and differentiation strategies for distribution products.

· Establish a systematic framework for fund evaluation, performance benchmarking, and competitive analysis.

· Ensure strict adherence to SEBI/AMFI guidelines; partner with Compliance on pre-validation of all materials.

3. Sales Enablement & Partner Management

· Collaborate with relationship teams to ensure effective product proposition delivery.

· Build strong partnerships with external AMCs, PMS houses, and AIF managers to onboard current products.

· Create concise product collaterals, FAQs, and client-facing communication decks.

· Conduct structured training sessions for Relationship Managers to simplify complex concepts.

4. Process & Efficiency





· Develop systems for real-time product performance tracking and analytics-based reporting.

· Drive efficiency initiatives to reduce TAT for product launches and service optimization.

Key Deliverables – First 12 Months

· Deliver 15–20% YoY AUM growth across AIF, PMS, and Mutual Funds.

· Conceptualize and roll out at least two new investment strategies/offerings.

· Conduct a minimum of 15 training sessions for sales teams.

· Ensure 100% compliance adherence via a robust product review framework.

· Reduce TAT for product approvals by 20% and implement a Product Performance Dashboard.

Requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience & Education

- Experience: 5–10 years in Investment Product Management, Wealth Distribution (AIFs, PMS, MFs mandatory).

- Education: MBA (Finance/Marketing), CFA, or PG in Investment Mgmt. AMFI certification mandatory; NISM-XA/XB preferred.

- Preferred Source: Leading private/foreign banks, AMC product teams, or NBFC wealth businesses.
