Role Overview

We are looking for a highly connected Investment Specialist who understands the startup fundraising ecosystem and has an active network of Angel Investors, Venture Capital firms, Family Offices, Corporate Investors, Strategic Investors, Accelerators, Incubators, and High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs).

The ideal candidate should know who to approach, when to approach them, and how to position Aptivision Technologies to maximize fundraising success. This is a relationship-driven role focused on securing investment opportunities rather than simply generating leads. Similar startup fundraising roles emphasize investor sourcing, fundraising strategy, due diligence coordination, and investor relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Network & Outreach

- Leverage existing investor relationships to introduce Aptivision Technologies to relevant investors.
- Identify investors whose investment thesis aligns with HRTech, AI, SaaS, Enterprise Software, and B2B technology.
- Build and maintain relationships with:
- Angel Investors
- Venture Capital Firms
- Family Offices
- Corporate Venture Capital (CVC)
- Private Equity (Growth Stage)
- Strategic Investors
- Startup Accelerators
- Incubators
- Government funding agencies
- Schedule investor meetings and warm introductions.





Fundraising Strategy
- Develop fundraising strategy for Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A funding.
- Identify the right funding sources based on the company's growth stage.
- Create investor target lists by geography, sector, investment size, and stage.
- Advise leadership on fundraising timelines and market positioning.
- Assist in valuation discussions and fundraising strategy.

Investor Relations
- Build long-term relationships with existing and prospective investors.
- Maintain investor CRM and communication pipeline.
- Send periodic investor updates.
- Manage investor follow-ups until closure.
- Coordinate due diligence activities.

Pitch & Investment Materials Support preparation and refinement of:
- Investor Pitch Deck
- Financial Model
- Business Plan
- Executive Summary
- Investment Memorandum
- Data Room
- Product Demonstrations
- Fundraising Story
- Market Research
- Competitive Analysis

Market Intelligence
- Track startup funding trends.
- Monitor investment activity in AI, SaaS, HRTech, and Enterprise Software.
- Identify recent funding programs, grants, accelerators, and startup competitions.
- Recommend suitable investor events and networking opportunities.

Partnership Development
- Build relationships with startup ecosystem partners.
- Coordinate with incubators and accelerators.
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities that can support fundraising and business growth.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- MBA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- 5–10+ years of experience in:

- Demonstrated experience helping startups raise institutional or angel funding.
- Strong understanding of startup valuation, fundraising processes, and investment documentation.
