Internal Auditor Job Group Capability Finance Job Group Risk Management Job Role Description Member of an Audit work group responsible for conducting audits to independently evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal controls in place for respective business units and for conducting external audits to evaluate compliance with contractual requirements. The role includes participating in the audit process to ensure that areas of higher risk are identified and mitigated, and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include addressing ad hoc management requests and participating in Audit Networks and Teams.

Audit

Advisors are expected to assume the role of Lead as required Job Role Responsibilities Provide annual audit planning support and scope audits, focusing on auditable entity high-risk areas - Conduct Internal Audits in compliance with audit standards, and conduct Special Assurance reviews,



to ensure lines of defense are operating effectively with appropriate and adequate risk identification and mitigation practices in place - Conduct SOX audits to drive internal management assurance that financial statements are free of material-error, contributing to SEC regulatory requirements - Conduct audits of third-party vendors and partners to equip ExxonMobil Management representatives with information needed to ensure compliance with contractual agreements. Includes influence of key JV partners - Build relationships with client contacts while managing tension points - Lead audit teams as required - Actively contribute to and leverage Audit Network and Team activities, striving to advance the Audit function - Maximize opportunities to utilize digital techniques and data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness and efficiency Functional Skills Experience Level Entry Level
