About the Role

Regal Associates is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team in Hosakote. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, developing interior concepts, preparing designs and layouts, coordinating with vendors and site teams, and ensuring projects are executed as per approved designs.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of space planning, materials, furniture, finishes, drawings, and site execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Planning

- Understand client requirements, preferences, budget, and functional needs.
- Develop creative and practical interior design concepts.
- Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, elevations, and design proposals.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D interior designs.
- Prepare material, colour, finish, and furniture selections.
- Ensure designs are practical, aesthetically appealing, and within the client's budget.

Client Coordination
- Meet and communicate with clients to understand their design requirements.
- Present design concepts and explain layouts, materials, and finishes.
- Incorporate client feedback into design revisions.
- Maintain good client relationships throughout the project.
- Assist in providing cost-effective design solutions.

Site Coordination & Execution
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress.




- Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, vendors, and other site personnel.
- Ensure site execution follows approved drawings and designs.
- Identify design or execution issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Take measurements and verify site dimensions before finalizing designs.
- Monitor quality of workmanship and finishing.

Drawings & Documentation
- Prepare detailed working drawings and execution drawings.
- Prepare furniture layouts, ceiling plans, electrical layouts, and elevations where required.
- Maintain design documentation and revisions.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure the latest drawings are used at the site.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles and space planning.
- Good understanding of furniture, materials, finishes, lighting, and construction.
- Ability to read and prepare technical drawings.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp / 3ds Max / V-Ray / Lumion / Revit will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and presentation tools.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Positive site coordination and problem-solving abilities.




- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Interior Design will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Interior Design.
- Experience in residential, commercial, office, retail, or turnkey interior projects will be preferred.
- Candidates with strong portfolios and relevant practical experience will be considered.
