About Sutra Interio

Sutra Interio is a growing interior design and execution company specializing in premium residential and commercial interiors. We are looking for a talented Interior Designer to work closely with our Design Director on client projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand client requirements, lifestyle, preferences and budget.
- Develop space plans, furniture layouts and complete interior concepts.
- Create mood boards, material palettes and design presentations.
- Prepare high-quality 3D designs and realistic renders.
- Prepare detailed working drawings, elevations, furniture/joinery details and execution drawings.
- Select materials, finishes, colours, furniture, lighting and accessories.
- Coordinate with the Design Director, vendors and execution team.
- Incorporate client feedback and manage design revisions.
- Ensure designs are aesthetically strong, practical and execution-friendly.
- Attend occasional client meetings and site visits when required.

Required Skills

- Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD plans, elevations, working drawings and detailing.
- Strong proficiency in 3D software – 3ds Max/V-Ray/Corona, SketchUp/V-Ray/Enscape, Revit, Blender or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator / Canva for presentations.
- Strong understanding of space planning,



furniture design and interior detailing.
- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting and hardware.
- Understanding of modular furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings and interior execution.
- Strong design sense with an understanding of Contemporary Luxury, Contemporary and Contemporary Classic interiors.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted design/visualisation tools will be an advantage.

Experience 2–6 years of relevant interior design experience preferred.

However, portfolio and practical skills will be given more importance than years of experience.

Experience in premium residential interiors, turnkey projects, architecture firms or reputed interior design companies will be an advantage.

Compensation & Work Model

- Freelance / Part-Time engagement.
- Mostly remote working.
- Occasional client meetings and site visits.
- Compensation will be based on project value, scope and level of involvement.
- Higher-value projects offer higher earning potential.
