Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for planning and designing interior spaces for a range of project types, including residential, commercial, and hospitality environments. Day-to-day work will involve developing concepts, preparing layouts, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating closely with architects, consultants, and clients.

The role includes producing design presentations, detailed drawings, and documentation that guide execution on-site,



as well as periodic site visits to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Surat, with a combination of in-office collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into functional, aesthetically coherent spaces.
- Knowledge of Architecture and an understanding of how interior design integrates with building systems and structural constraints.
- Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and detailed documentation for contractors and vendors.
- Experience with FF&E; selection, specification, and coordination, including materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
- Competence in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Strong visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior professional experience in an interior design or architecture firm is preferred.
