We are seeking a brilliant, perceptive, and highly research-driven Learning Designer to join our Learning Architecture Practice. In this role, you will map out the cognitive and emotional pathways that help individuals discover and unlock their intrinsic human strength and capacity.

About the Role

As a Learning Designer in Illumine, your primary canvas is the human mind and human potential. You will be responsible for taking complex cognitive-behavioral science, psychology, and human developmental concepts and develop them into high-impact programs, digital tools, diagnostic assessments, and transformative interventions. This will require you to understand and work within the architectural framework and change model defined based on research and human potential philosophy.

This is an intellectually demanding role that requires a rare combination of rigor as a practitioner, research ability, ability to work with abstraction combined with highly practical, intuitive design that makes learning simple and high-connect for people.

What You Will Do:

- Research of different kinds – of diverse contexts, of latest learning theories, of change theories, of Illumine’s philosophy & methods. Research will include both, research & study before design & development, documentation for papers, and communication of learnings/ practice insights post-projects.
- Design Learning Engagements: Design end-to-end blended learning journeys that cut across various mediums of learning. These include in-class engagements, peer-learning, self-learning engagements, digital tool-based learning engagements, micro-learning engagements, learning books and facilitation guides that enable ‘discovery’ by the learner and create genuine shifts in thinking,



rather than just delivering information.
- Tool & Assessment Development: Develop reflective toolkits, diagnostic self-assessments, and interactive digital tools that help learners confront, evaluate, and build their own inner capacities – for personal growth & creating value to others.
- Prototyping & Iteration: Run experimental pilots of the learning products, keenly observing and documenting learner behaviors and assimilation friction points to rapidly iterate and refine your products. This also involves documenting learning models and its evidence-based evolutions.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with cognitive researchers, context researchers, business teams, tech designers & developers, practice leads, and creative teams to bring strength-giving ideas to life – visually and structurally.

About You You are someone who notices the subtle nuances in how people think, react, and grow. You likely find yourself reading deeply across psychology, philosophy, learning science and cognitive science, always asking, "How does someone actually internalize this?"

Your Profile:

- Think like a Builder: You understand how adults learn from a foundational cognitive-behavioral level and build from the ground up - not rely only on generic templates like ADDIE. You enjoy being hands-on and build products from scratch.
- Highly Perceptive & Empathetic: You understand how diverse learners think —from corporate executives under immense pressure to students searching for direction—and design exactly what they need to feel connected yet challenged.
- Exceptional Communication & Writing ability: Your writing is explicit, evocative, and precise. You understand that when building tools, the exact choice of words can determine whether an assessment triggers defensiveness or unlocks self-awareness.
- Background:



3+ years in Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Educational Psychology, or a related field where you have explicitly designed tools, programs or interventions focused on human capability development.

Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
