Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure & Networking Engineer to support the design and implementation of Red Hat clusters in preparation for onboarding applications and tenants migrating from VMware environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware NSX, Red Hat networking (including Multus), and experience with OpenShift/OpenStack. Familiarity with Cisco VXLAN and Arista networking is essential to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with architecture and application teams to design Red Hat cluster environments for tenant onboarding.
- Support migration planning and execution from VMware NSX-based networking to Red Hat-based solutions.
- Configure and manage Multus CNI for multi-network support in OpenShift.
- Design and implement VXLAN overlays using Cisco and Arista networking gear.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of networking components across hybrid environments.
- Troubleshoot and optimize network performance across Red Hat OpenShift/OpenStack clusters.
- Document network designs, configurations,



and migration procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams during migration phases.

Required Skills & Experience:

- VMware NSX Networking: Solid hands-on experience with NSX-T/NSX-V, including logical switching, routing, and distributed firewalls.
- Red Hat Networking: Experience with Multus CNI, OpenShift SDN, and OpenStack Neutron.
- OpenShift / OpenStack: Deployment, configuration, and networking integration.
- Cisco VXLAN: Understanding of VXLAN fabric design, EVPN, and integration with data center networks.
- Arista Networking: Familiarity with Arista EOS, CloudVision, and VXLAN configurations.
- Strong understanding of Linux networking, firewalls, and routing protocols.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift or Networking.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP-NV).
- Cisco or Arista certifications (CCNP, Arista ACE).
- Experience in large-scale enterprise migrations or hybrid cloud environments.
