- Report on duty to floor supervisor.

- Take daily rounds on all floors including toilets, OPD and other departments like OT, CSSD. Check for cleanliness of all articles, staff grooming, uniform and cleanliness.

- Monitoring of all patients with all indwelling catheters, drains, surgical and other wounds, tracheotomy, E.T intubation, and patient on ventilator for prevention of infection.

- Supervise the bio-medical waste disposal right from the point of generation till it is finally collected by the corporation and the private bio-medical waste management company.

- Visit the microbiology department for collecting related data like culture reports, fogging reports etc.

- Check whether change of distilled water of oxygen humidifiers.

- Send water for monthly testing.





- Periodical fogging and terminal disinfection after discharge of any infectious patient.

- Check for any pests and inform and supervise pest control services..

- Supervise the nurses, doctors’,house-keeping staff on Hand washing and prevention of spread of infection.

- Train and educate all staff on infection control.

- Maintain the records and statistics.

- As per hospital policy checks and co ordinates for the staff immunization.

- Report to infection control convener and the nursing superintendent daily.

- To co-ordinate and work for the smooth functioning of the hospital

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
