Job Summary We are looking for a talented and innovative Industrial Designer to join our dynamic design team. As an Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and user-centered designs for a wide range of products. Your role will involve collaborating with engineers, marketers, and other designers to turn concepts into tangible, manufacturable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conceptualization & Ideation: Develop creative ideas and concepts for new products, considering usability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
- Design Development: Produce detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes of product designs.
- Material Selection: Identify appropriate materials for product designs, balancing performance, cost, and sustainability.
- Prototyping: Work closely with prototyping teams to create physical models of designs and assess their viability.
- User-Centered Design: Focus on user experience (UX) principles and ensure that designs meet the needs and preferences of the target audience.
- Collaboration: Work in partnership with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to refine designs and ensure manufacturability.
- CAD & Rendering: Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create exact design drawings and renderings for internal and external presentations.
- Testing & Evaluation: Conduct tests to evaluate the functionality, durability, and performance of prototypes and make necessary adjustments to designs.
- Manufacturing Liaison: Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure the feasibility of designs and streamline the production process.
- Sustainability:



Integrate eco-friendly practices into design processes, considering sustainable materials and production methods.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to inform design decisions.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial design or product design. Experience in Consumer appliance and Automotive sector
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).
- Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and product development lifecycle.
- Excellent sketching, prototyping, and visualization skills.
- Understanding of ergonomics and human-centered design principles.
- Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative and innovative mindset with attention to detail.
- Problem-solving abilities and a strong focus on results.
- Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing previous industrial design work, including process sketches, final products, and prototypes.
