Position: Import Executive

Department: Purchase / Imports

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Location: Ludhiana, Punjab

Reporting To: Purchase / Commercial Manager

Job Summary The Import Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day import activities, coordinating with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal departments to ensure timely and smooth receipt of imported materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle complete import documentation and shipment coordination.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers for order status, shipping documents, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters.
- Prepare and verify Purchase Orders, Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading/AWB, and other import documents.
- Track shipments and ensure timely customs clearance and delivery.
- Maintain import records and update transactions in ERPNext.
- Coordinate with Accounts for import payments, duty, freight, and other related expenses.




- Monitor Customs Duty, IGST, freight, and clearance charges.
- Ensure compliance with applicable import procedures and documentation requirements.
- Prepare regular import status and pending shipment reports.

Qualifications

- Graduate in Commerce, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Import/Export, Purchase, or International Logistics preferred.

Skills Required

- Valuable knowledge of Import Documentation & Procedures.
- Knowledge of ERPNext / ERP systems preferred.
- Good MS Excel skills.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Ability to coordinate with international suppliers and logistics partners.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
