Technology & AI Manager Job Summary The Technology & AI Manager serves as the strategic leader for all technology and artificial intelligence initiatives within the account.
This role is responsible for developing and executing a technology roadmap that leverages AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to drive operational efficiency, enhance client value, and create a competitive advantage. You will be the primary technology advisor to both the internal account team and the client, translating complex business needs into innovative and scalable tech-enabled solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Technology & AI Strategy
- Develop and govern the account’s long-term technology and AI strategy, ensuring alignment with the Master Service Agreement (MSA) and client business objectives.
- Serve as the primary technology and AI advisor to the account and the client, presenting current opportunities and managing expectations.
- Identify, pilot, and scale new AI and technology solutions (e.g., predictive maintenance, space utilization analytics, NLP for sentiment analysis) to address business challenges.
- Establish and maintain a technology governance framework to manage the lifecycle of applications, integrations, and data platforms.
- Intelligent Performance Management
- Design and implement an AI-enhanced performance management framework that moves beyond historical reporting to predictive and prescriptive insights.
- Utilize machine learning models to forecast KPI performance, identify potential risks, and recommend proactive interventions.
- Implement AI-driven dashboards and real-time reporting that provide the account team with actionable intelligence to optimize their performance.
- Lead performance discussions at quarterly business reviews, presenting not only results but also data-driven root cause analyses and forward-looking strategic recommendations.
- Analyze JLL’s ‘Client Voice’ satisfaction survey data using advanced analytical techniques (e.g., sentiment analysis) to uncover deeper insights.
- Advanced Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Lead all account business intelligence and data science activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, deliver, and maintain sophisticated BI reports and dashboards that visualize complex data and AI-driven insights.
- Transform raw data into actionable strategic insights using advanced analytical techniques and machine learning models.
- Oversee the fulfillment of all contractual reporting obligations, enhancing them with automated and intelligent reporting where possible.
- AI-Ready Data Governance
- Establish and maintain a robust data pipeline and governance framework specifically designed to support AI and machine learning initiatives.
- Continuously monitor and report on the account’s data quality and integrity, understanding its direct impact on the efficacy of predictive models.
- Implement a comprehensive data governance plan, including data standards, processes, and audits to ensure a single source of truth for analytics.
- Partner with Data Program Managers and engineers to design and implement strategic plans to improve data quality, structure, and accessibility for AI applications.
Performance Objectives
- Successful deployment and adoption of new technology and AI tools across the account.
- Demonstrable ROI from technology investments,
shown through improved efficiency, cost savings, or enhanced client satisfaction.
- Measurable improvement in predictive accuracy and the proactive resolution of operational issues.
Key Skills
- Organized, strategic, and able to drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Experience in technology strategy, client advisory, AI project management, and business process optimization.
- Experience with technology governance, risk management, and compliance is highly beneficial.
- Ideally, you’ll have experience working in a large, diverse, complex organization with geographically dispersed teams and complex technical environments.
- Advanced skills in data analytics, business intelligence, and a strong conceptual understanding of machine learning and AI principles.
- Experience in the commercial property or facilities management sector is desirable but not essential.
