About the Role
Guru Nanak College is hiring an IELTS Trainer for its Global Pathway Programme. You will prepare students for overseas education through structured IELTS coaching and academic English training.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver complete coaching across all 4 modules: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
- Conduct mock tests, grade practice papers, and give targeted band score feedback.
- Prepare lesson plans, practice materials, and interactive classroom activities (including Attendance).
- Build student confidence in academic writing,
public speaking, and interview prep.
- Track student progress and assist with pre-departure language orientations.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s in English, ELT, Linguistics, or related field.
- Language Skill: Exceptional English fluency (IELTS Band 7.5+ preferred).
Experience: 1–2 years in IELTS/English training (freshers with high IELTS scores or IDP/British Council certification may also apply). Good grasp of official IELTS scoring rubrics and exam strategies.
