Role Overview -

We're looking for a hands-on HR Manager to own the full employee lifecycle at Rasta.AI — from hiring to onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and culture-building. This is a high-ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and wants to build HR processes from the ground up rather than just maintain existing ones.

Key Responsibilities -

Talent Acquisition

- Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and build effective hiring pipelines
- Improve and streamline the candidate experience

Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle

- Design and run onboarding programs for new hires
- Manage employee documentation, contracts, and HRIS records
- Own offboarding processes, including exit interviews

Performance & Culture





- Implement and manage performance review cycles (goal-setting, feedback, appraisals)
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities
- Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and conflict resolution

HR Operations & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.)
- Manage payroll coordination with finance/accounts
- Maintain and update HR policies as the company scales
- Own HR documentation, audits, and reporting

Compensation & Advantages

- Support salary benchmarking and compensation structuring
- Administer employee benefits programs

Requirements-

1. Fresher to 2 years of experience in HR roles, in a generalist or HR manager capacity
2. Prior experience in a startup or fast-growth tech company strongly preferred
3. Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance
4. Experience with HRIS/HRMS tools
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
6. Ability to work independently and build processes with minimal oversight
7. Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred)

Nice to Have -

- Experience hiring for tech/AI roles
- Familiarity with performance management tools
- Prior experience setting up HR functions from scratch (0-to-1)
