Company Description** SNNEH Foundation is a grassroots organization dedicated to building equitable communities through sustainability, compassion, and respect for the dignity of every individual. The foundation focuses on empowering marginalized groups by improving access to mental health care, education, livelihood opportunities, and inclusive healthcare.
Its programs support mental well-being, economic empowerment, child development, intergenerational knowledge exchange, and animal and community care. Volunteers join a cooperative environment where every contribution, large or small, supports individuals from disadvantaged communities in leading independent and confident lives.
Role Description The Human Resource Volunteer will support SNNEH Foundation’s people-focused activities in a remote, volunteer capacity.
Responsibilities include assisting with volunteer and personnel coordination, helping maintain HR records, and supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedures. The role involves contributing to onboarding processes,
updating role descriptions, and assisting with communication to volunteers and team members. The volunteer may help organize training or awareness sessions, support basic performance and feedback processes, and contribute to creating an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment for all participants.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support day-to-day HR-related activities.
- Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Advantages, including an interest in developing fair and inclusive practices.
- Skills in Personnel Management, such as coordinating volunteers, maintaining records, and supporting team communication.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed, compassionate engagement with diverse and marginalized communities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate with a diverse team, and manage time effectively.
- Prior experience in HR, volunteering, or nonprofit work is beneficial but not required; relevant coursework or training is an advantage.
