Role & responsibilities
HR Executive
Company: SVG Metals Private Limited
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager / Director The HR Executive will be responsible for managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring statutory compliance, supporting recruitment, maintaining employee records, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The role requires close coordination with factory operations, department heads, and management to ensure effective workforce management.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates for factory, office, and managerial positions.
- Coordinate interviews with department heads and management.
- Conduct reference and background verification where required.
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and joining documentation.
- Plan and execute employee induction and onboarding programs.
Employee Records & HR Administration
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation.
- Update employee attendance, leave, and shift records.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of HRMS and employee databases.
- Handle employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.
Payroll & Attendance Support
- Coordinate attendance, overtime, leave records, and payroll inputs.
- Liaise with the accounts department for timely salary processing.
- Ensure accuracy in employee compensation records.
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Assist in compliance with Labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, and other employee-related compliances.
- Maintain statutory registers and support labor inspections.
Employee Relations
- Address employee concerns and grievances professionally.
- Promote positive employee engagement and workplace discipline.
- Organize employee welfare activities, celebrations, and recognition programs.
- Support performance management and appraisal processes.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs across departments.
- Coordinate technical, safety, and soft skills training programs.
- Maintain employee training records.
HR Policies & Performance
- Ensure implementation of company HR policies and procedures.
- Support performance review and appraisal cycles.
- Assist management in developing HR initiatives to improve productivity and retention.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Prepare HR reports, MIS, and recruitment dashboards.
- Support audits and documentation requirements.
- Perform additional HR responsibilities assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial organizations.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws, PF, ESIC, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software/HRMS.
