Clean Electric is a Series A funded battery tech company focused on designing and manufacturing advanced li-ion batteries for EVs and energy storage applications which enable 12-min rapid charging, long life and unrivalled safety. We are pushing the boundaries of the EV industry with our Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) thermal management, integrated cell-to-pack (CTP) architecture, and proprietary dynamic charging algorithms running on a custom-engineered in-house battery management system.
Founded in 2020 by IIT-BHU graduates Akash Gupta, Abhinav Roy and Ankit Joshi, we are today rapidly scaling and deploying our tech across 2W and 3W segments with plans to enter 4W and commercial vehicles as well. The team comprises multiple IIT, IIM graduates and industry professionals and we are backed by some of the leading Indian VCs.
About the Role The HR Executive is responsible for supporting and managing day-to-day human resource activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, performance management, training, and HR administration. The role ensures compliance with company policies and labor laws while fostering a positive work environment.
Role Description and Key Responsibilities The role involves tasks including but not limited to -
1. Recruitment & Selection
- Driving the full spectrum of recruiting and selection activities
- Creating and implementing talent acquisition strategies for leadership,
mid-career and graduate hiring
- Designing and driving the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience
- Partnering with leaders within the organisation to track the ongoing hiring needs of their business
- Identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events to attract top talent.
2. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and employment contracts.
- Conduct employee induction and orientation programs.
- Manage employee exit formalities and documentation.
3. HR Administration
- Maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Update attendance, leave, and employee information systems.
- Prepare HR reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
4. Payroll & Benefits Support
- Coordinate attendance and payroll inputs.
- Assist in salary processing and benefits administration.
- Address employee queries regarding compensation and benefits.
5. Employee Relations
- Handle employee grievances and concerns.
- Support employee engagement activities and events.
- Promote a positive workplace culture.
6. Performance Management
- Assist in performance appraisal processes.
- Track employee goals and performance reviews.
- Support employee development initiatives.
7. Training & Development
- Identify training needs in coordination with department heads.
- Organize training sessions and workshops.
- Maintain training records and effectiveness reports.

Desired Qualifications / Experience / Background
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PGDM in HR is preferred.
- Experience of hiring in the automotive, manufacturing, industrial field
- Preferred Female candidate
