Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Manager to oversee our large contract workforce of approximately 400 Hindi-speaking workmen. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Hindi and comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment involving high-temperature molten metal and large production volumes.

Qualification and Requirements

- Any Degree
- Experience : 15 years to 20 years
- Fluency in Hindi is mandatory along with English
- Prior experience managing large contract/blue-collar workforces, preferably in a manufacturing or heavy industry setting
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills,



with the ability to build trust with skilled and unskilled workmen
- Sound understanding of contract labour laws and statutory compliance
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, patience, and firmness when required

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations for a workforce of 400 Hindi-speaking contract workmen
- Conduct regular counselling sessions with workmen to address grievances, personal concerns, and workplace issues
- Serve as the primary point of contact between workmen and management, ensuring explicit two-way communication
- Coordinate with contractors on manpower deployment, attendance, discipline and welfare
- Support onboarding, induction and orientation of new contract workmen, including safety briefings for the plant environment
- Liaise with contractors and site teams to ensure compliance with labour laws, safety norms, and statutory requirements
- Work closely with plant/production teams to align manpower needs with operational requirements

Salary 7,20,000 to 9,00,000 per annum
