As an HR Intern at SKIL Global, you will not just operate behind the scenes—you will directly support the talent pipelines, employee development frameworks, and organizational growth initiatives that fuel our consulting delivery.
Position Overview
- Role: HR Intern
- Location: Bangalore (RR Nagar) – On-site / Hybrid (as per company policy)
- Duration: 3 to 6 months
- Department: Human Resources / Talent Development
- Stipend: Industry Standard (Competitive)
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Consulting Recruitment
- Sourcing & Screening: Identify high-caliber candidates for consulting, digital transformation, and process excellence roles via LinkedIn, job portals, and campus networks.
- Interview Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, scheduling multi-stage interviews with Senior Consultants and Directors.
- Database Management: Maintain and update the internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure a clean pipeline of niche consulting talent.
- Employee Onboarding & Engagement
- Seamless Onboarding: Coordinate the orientation process for new hires, ensuring all documentation, IT assets, and compliance checks are completed.
- Engagement Initiatives: Design and implement internal employee engagement activities to maintain a high-energy, collaborative startup culture.
- Feedback Loops: Conduct check-ins with new team members to gather feedback on their onboarding journey.
- Corporate Training & Learning Operations
- Training Coordination:
Assist in organizing internal and external qualified training workshops (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, project management tools).
- Resource Management: Help manage training schedules, attendance tracking, and feedback collection for corporate capability-building programs.
- HR Generalist Operations
- HR Analytics: Update and maintain employee records, leave trackers, and performance metrics on internal HR platforms.
- Policy Support: Assist the HR team in drafting and updating internal HR policy manuals and employee handbooks.
Qualifications & Skills Educational Background
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA in HR, PGDM, or a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management / Organizational Psychology.
- BBA/B.Com graduates with strong alignment toward a career in HR will also be considered.
Technical & Soft Skills
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills (critical for interacting with management consulting professionals).
- Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or any ATS is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skill: A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive professional data.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn the nuances of the management consulting industry and corporate structural scaling.
