Job Summary The HR Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day human resource operations, including recruitment, payroll support, statutory compliance, employee record management, and coordination with the Head Office. The role ensures smooth HR processes, compliance with company policies and labor laws, and a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Handle the complete recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand hiring requirements.
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment reports.
- Prepare offer letters and support joining formalities.
Payroll & Attendance
- Maintain employee attendance and leave records.
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs and coordinate with the payroll team.
- Verify salary data, deductions, reimbursements, and overtime records.
- Resolve employee payroll-related queries.
PF & Statutory Compliance
- Process Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and other statutory compliance activities.
- Coordinate employee registration, exits, transfers, and claim documentation.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure timely submission of required documents.
- Assist in labor law compliance and HR audits.
Employee Management
- Maintain employee personal files and HR documentation.
- Manage employee onboarding, confirmations, transfers, resignations, and exit formalities.
- Update and maintain the HR Management System (HRMS).
- Support employee engagement and welfare activities.
- Address routine employee concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
Coordination with Head Office
- Coordinate regularly with the Head Office for HR policies, recruitment updates, payroll, and compliance matters.
- Submit monthly HR reports, attendance records, and manpower reports.
- Ensure implementation of company HR policies and procedures at the branch/location.
- Facilitate communication between employees and the Head Office HR team.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare HR reports related to recruitment, attendance, attrition, and employee records.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Ensure all HR documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
Experience
- 25 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Experience in recruitment, payroll processing, PF/ESI compliance, and employee administration is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, labor laws).
- Strong recruitment and interviewing skills.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRMS software.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
- Good coordination and problem-solving abilities.
