Job Title: Assistant Manager – Pharmacy Purchase

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Pharmacy Purchase to manage the procurement of medicines, pharmaceutical products, surgical items, and pharmacy consumables. The role will be responsible for vendor management, price negotiation, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely availability of required items at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end procurement of medicines, pharmaceutical products, surgical consumables, and pharmacy items.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and finalize purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted availability of essential medicines and consumables.
- Monitor stock levels, minimum/maximum levels, expiry dates, and slow-moving items.
- Coordinate with Pharmacy, Stores, Finance, and hospital departments for purchase requirements.
- Maintain approved vendor lists and regularly evaluate vendor performance.
- Negotiate pricing, credit terms, payment terms, and delivery schedules.




- Track purchase orders and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
- Verify purchase orders, invoices, GRNs, and other procurement documents.
- Handle product shortages, damages, returns, replacements, and vendor-related issues.
- Ensure procurement is carried out as per hospital policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Prepare purchase reports, MIS, cost analysis, and vendor performance reports.
- Support stock audits and assist in controlling procurement costs.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all pharmacy purchases.

Qualification & Experience:

- Qualification: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Any Graduate with relevant experience.
- Experience: 3–8 years of experience in hospital pharmacy purchase, pharmaceutical procurement, or medical procurement.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
