A. Production :

1. Customer Requirements are to be met
2. Authority to stop shipment and stop production to correct quality problems
3. To execute daily production plan & ensure advance raw material availability so as to avoid machine idleness
4. To schedule daily machine plan and take a review of the same
5. Effective utilization & handling of Heat treatment furnaces
6. To do hourly monitoring of production. Analyze shift performance covering productivity considering value added & non value added activities, machine down time, product rejection data etc.
7. To analyze defects if any, do root cause study and provide solutions.
8. Timely checking of Hardness, to do micro structure Analysis
9. To raise Indents’ in ERP in consultation with Head
10. To inspect and accept materials at Stores

B. Quality :

1. To do first off inspection in line with quality standards
2. Having Knowledge on CQI-9 Process.
3.



To execute process & quality control plan
4. Ensure availability of calibrated equipments
5. To monitor break downs, also reschedule production plan in case of major breakdowns
6. Execute department HT process are in line with laid down Quality System Procedure
7. Satisfy the audit requirements during quality auditing

C. People Development :

1. To train department employees for 1S & 2S
2. To co-ordinate the activity for common department goals
3. Impart On job trainings
4. To train department employees for multi-skilling & maintaining highest flexibility within department
5. Develop internal faculty to implement on job training
