FemLyra is looking for a committed Medical Co-founder / Healthcare Co-founder who will be a core member of the founding team and will help lead the clinical vision, medical standards, and healthcare strategy of the platform. This is an active co-founder role, not a fixed-salary job, advisory-only role, passive investment role, or short-term consulting opportunity.

The Medical

Co-founder will work closely with product, technology, operations, business, and healthcare stakeholders to design secure, evidence-based, and scalable care models for FemLyra.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include developing clinical protocols, reviewing and validating medical content, supporting doctor onboarding and verification, overseeing quality and safety standards, guiding care pathways, and ensuring that FemLyra’s healthcare services follow ethical, patient-first, and compliant practices.

The Medical

Co-founder will also participate in patient journey design, FemAI safety guidance, teleconsultation workflow development, healthcare partnership discussions, clinical governance, and strategic decision-making.

This role requires both medical leadership and investment commitment. Investment and Equity

This is a serious investment-based co-founder opportunity.

Mandatory Investment Commitment: ₹20 lakh

Proposed Equity: 10%, or as mutually discussed and legally documented

Key Responsibilities • Lead FemLyra’s clinical vision and medical strategy

- Develop safe,



evidence-based care pathways and consultation workflows
- Help define clinical protocols for women’s health, fertility, pregnancy care, preventive healthcare, mental wellness, dermatology, nutrition, and related services
- Review and validate medical and wellness content for accuracy and safety
- Support doctor onboarding, credential verification, and quality standards
- Help build a trusted doctor and healthcare professional network
- Guide patient safety, escalation rules, disclaimers, and ethical consultation practices
- Provide medical input for FemAI and AI-enabled educational health features
- Support lab test booking, report review, and health report workflow design
- Collaborate with product, technology, operations, marketing, and business teams
- Represent the medical perspective in strategic planning and external partnerships
- Help build partnerships with doctors, clinics, hospitals, laboratories, wellness experts, and healthcare institutions
- Mentor clinical staff or healthcare partners where required
- Support pilot programs, awareness initiatives, and healthcare education campaigns
- Help build a scalable, trusted, and sustainable healthcare offering Qualifications • MBBS completed; higher qualification such as MD, MS, DGO, DNB, or relevant specialization will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of medical experience
- Valid medical registration/licence in India
- Demonstrated clinical experience, preferably in women’s health, gynecology, fertility, pregnancy care, primary care, preventive healthcare, public health, or related areas
- Strong grounding in evidence-based medicine, clinical protocol development, and quality assurance
- Understanding of healthcare ethics, patient safety, telemedicine practices, and healthcare regulations in India
- Ability to collaborate with non-medical founders and cross-functional teams, including product, technology, operations, business, and marketing
- Strong interest in healthcare innovation, digital health, AI-enabled health education, and new care delivery models
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain medical concepts clearly to non-clinical stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and willingness to take ownership in an early-stage startup environment
- Ability to actively contribute meaningful time to the startup
- Mandatory willingness to invest ₹20 lakh into FemLyra
- Interest in proposed 10% equity-based co-founder role, or as mutually discussed and legally documented.
