Role Description The Head System Network Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role oversees network operations, ensures high availability and performance, and manages network security across data centers and office locations.

The Head System Network

Engineer will plan and execute network upgrades, monitor and troubleshoot complex network issues,



and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical e-Procurement platforms. Daily responsibilities include supervising network administration activities, optimizing system configurations, documenting network architecture, and mentoring team members to maintain robust, scalable, and secure networks.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering, with experience managing large, distributed environments.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Network Design and architecture, including planning, implementation, and optimization of complex network topologies.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and security best practices.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving network performance, connectivity, and configuration issues.
- Relevant experience with routing and switching (e.g., Cisco, Juniper), TCP/IP, VLANs, WAN/LAN, and wireless networks.
- Experience leading technical teams, managing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, ITIL) are an advantage.
- Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work on-site in a dynamic, high-availability environment.
