Role & responsibilities
1. Candidate will be based at corporate office of reputed Animal Health/ Veterinary Company in Mumbai and will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing Raw Materials for Veterinary / animal health form Import & local manufacture.
2. Candidate will be responsible for handling overall Supply chain function including Inventory Management, Demand Planner, Contract Manufacturing, Plant and manufacturing coordination.
3. Candidate will be responsible for entire supply chain, developing strategies to optimize efficiency, managing budgets, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
4. Candidate will be responsible for understanding import processes, fulfilment of advance licenses, and their business implications.
5. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Supply Chain and Planning teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and production resources.
6. Candidate will be responsible for partnering with business functions including R&D;, Production, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to support global product launches for both in-house manufacturing and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
7. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance of CMO-manufactured products through effective coordination with CMO partners,
Quality Assurance, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred candidate profile
1. Candidate should be Bachelor of Pharmacy or an MBA in Pharmaceutical Operations/Supply Chain Management (preferred qualification) with 1520 years of experience in a for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement
2. Candidate should have good knowledge of overall Supply chain function including Inventory Management, Demand Planner, Contract Manufacturing, Plant and manufacturing coordination.
3. Candidate should have good knowledge of procurement, logistics, and commercial activities related to materials used in the pharmaceutical formulations industry.
4. Candidate should have positive knowledge of logistics software and strong problem-solving methodologies.
5. Candidate should have good knowledge of domestic and international pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines related to supply chain management.
6. Candidate should have good knowledge of managing the supply chain budget and operations of a pharmaceutical manufacturing company with an annual turnover of at least 300 crore.
