Role Description The Head of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Nellore, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities and ensuring efficient execution across all functions. This role includes managing and optimizing processes related to installer onboarding, homeowner support workflows, subsidy facilitation, and service quality monitoring.

The Head of Operations will lead and develop cross-functional teams, establish performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to support the company’s growth targets. Collaboration with product, sales, and customer success teams is essential to align operations with strategic goals, manage budgets, and maintain high standards of service delivery.



The role requires regular data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and hands-on involvement in building operational systems and structures suited to a fast-scaling clean-tech marketplace.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process design, execution oversight, and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, KPI tracking, and operational forecasting.
- Candidates should possess effective Team Management and Communication skills to lead diverse teams, collaborate across functions, and maintain clear stakeholder alignment.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting and financial management skills to plan, monitor, and optimize operational costs and resources.
- Experience in marketplace, clean-tech, energy, or SaaS operations is highly beneficial.
- Proven experience in a senior operations or general management role, preferably in a fast-growing or startup workplace.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate degree is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Nellore, with high ownership, adaptability, and a strong commitment to building sustainable solutions for India’s residential solar market.
