Company Description SKJ Clean Enviro Ventures LLP is a leading recycler in North-East India, operating a state-of-the-art, EPR-registered and USFDA-approved food-grade PET recycling facility in North Guwahati, Assam. The company has the capacity to recycle over 250 crore waste PET bottles annually, directly employing more than 200 people and supporting thousands of scrap pickers in the unorganized sector. In response to climate change and growing waste management challenges, SKJ actively supports the transition to a circular economy through compliance with EPR regulations and promotion of PCR content in new production.

By supplying high-quality rPET granules to F&B; companies, SKJ enables sustainable packaging solutions without compromising product safety or performance.

Role Description The Head of Business Development and Brand Connect is a full-time, in office role based in Guwahati. This position oversees the development and execution of business growth strategies, including market expansion, partner acquisition, and revenue optimization in the recycling and sustainable packaging sectors. The role includes leading sales initiatives, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with F&B; brands, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.

Day-to-day responsibilities involve developing business plans, analyzing market trends and customer data, identifying new opportunities, negotiating commercial agreements,



and ensuring consistent brand messaging that highlights SKJ’s sustainability leadership. The role also requires close collaboration with operations, finance, and marketing teams to align business development activities with production capabilities and long-term organizational goals.

Qualifications Strong business planning and strategic business development skills, with experience in identifying and executing growth opportunities.

Advanced analytical skills to interpret market data, financial metrics, and customer insights for informed decision-making.

Proven sales and account management capabilities, including stakeholder engagement, relationship building, and contract negotiation.

Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with operations, marketing, and finance.

Knowledge of recycling, sustainability, packaging, or related industries, and familiarity with EPR and circular economy concepts.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the brand to corporate clients and institutional partners.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.

Demonstrated leadership experience in business development or commercial roles, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or environmental services.
