Position Overview

We are looking for a senior Finance leader to head the Finance function. This is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Director Finance, with accountability for the full spectrum of financial management planning, control, compliance, reporting, treasury, taxation, and digital finance.

The role carries 2 direct reports and 8 to 10 indirect reports across plant finance teams at multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning aligned to business growth objectives.

Own cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and treasury operations across banking relationships private Indian, co-operative, foreign banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions.

Manage product costing and validate high-value RFQs for commercial accuracy and viability.

Ensure 100% statutory, regulatory, and banking compliance; lead direct and indirect taxation with zero deviation.

Deliver monthly MIS and management dashboard to the Board; own quarterly financial reporting under Ind-AS.

Build and maintain live KPI dashboards; drive automation of routine finance processes using SAP S4 HANA and AI tools.

Liaise with external and internal auditors; establish robust investment appraisal and capex evaluation processes.

Serve as strategic financial advisor to the Board feasibility studies, risk management, and capital expenditure decisions.





Lead and develop a distributed finance team across locations; build capability and accountability across direct and indirect reports.

Qualification

Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory. Candidates without CA qualification will not be considered.

First attempt preferred. Candidates who have cleared CA in up to three attempts will be considered.

ICWA / CMA will be an added advantage

Experience

15+ years of post-CA qualification experience in Finance.

Minimum 8 to 10 years in a senior Finance leadership role.

Prior experience in automotive components, engineering, or allied manufacturing sectors strongly preferred.

Hands-on experience in banking relationships, working capital management, Ind-AS reporting, and taxation.

Working knowledge of SAP S4 HANA essential.
