Head - Finance Accounts (IPO Readiness Finance Transformation)
Location: Mumbai (On-site)

This is a strategic leadership opportunity to build robust finance, governance, reporting, and control frameworks while partnering directly with the promoters to shape the companys long-term growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business strategy.
- Present monthly MIS, dashboards, and strategic insights to the Directors.
- Drive profitability through financial analysis and cost optimization.
Treasury Working Capital
- Manage banking relationships, treasury operations, and cash flow.
- Handle Gold Metal Loans (GML), bullion financing, and banking facilities.
- Optimize working capital and borrowing costs.
Financial Control
- Ensure timely financial closures and statutory reporting.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
- Drive ERP adoption and finance process improvements.
- Oversee inventory valuation, bullion accounting, and store profitability.
Corporate Governance Compliance
- Lead Board and Committee meeting compliance.
- Manage ROC, MCA, GST, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and statutory filings.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and secretarial audits.
- Develop governance frameworks and risk management processes.
Retail Finance
- Monitor store-wise profitability and inventory performance.
- Improve inventory controls, pricing analysis, and business dashboards.
IPO Readiness Finance Transformation
- Lead the companys three-year IPO readiness roadmap.
- Enhance governance, financial reporting, internal controls, and documentation standards.
- Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, tax consultants, merchant bankers, and other external stakeholders.
- Build institutional finance practices aligned with public company standards.
Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-7 finance professionals.
- Develop scalable SOPs, control frameworks, and finance best practices.
- Partner closely with promoters and business leaders on strategic initiatives.
What Were Looking For
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) (Mandatory)
- 12-18 years of progressive finance experience with at least 3 years in a senior finance leadership role
- Experience as Head of Finance, Finance Controller, VP Finance, Financial Controller, or equivalent
- Prior experience in Jewelry, Luxury Retail, Consumer, Retail, or Lifestyle industries preferred
- Solid exposure to IPO readiness, pre-IPO transformation, corporate governance, investor due diligence, private equity reporting, or capital market transactions
- Hands-on expertise in treasury, MIS, ERP, financial controls, budgeting, compliance, and working capital management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
