As we continue to strengthen our research capabilities, we are looking for an exceptional Head – Derivatives to lead our F&O; Research function.

The Prospect

We are looking for a highly accomplished Derivatives Leader with deep expertise in Options & Futures (F&O;) who has a proven ability to generate high-conviction trading ideas, maintain exceptional accuracy, and consistently deliver an optimal risk-reward ratio.

This is a business-critical leadership role responsible for shaping Univest's derivatives research strategy, driving research performance, and building one of India's most trusted F&O; advisory platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and own the Derivatives (F&O;) Research function.
- Publish high-conviction daily Options & Futures trading recommendations backed by robust research and disciplined risk management.
- Develop directional, non-directional, intraday, positional, and event-driven derivatives strategies.




- Ensure high research accuracy while maintaining a consistent and disciplined risk-reward ratio across all recommendations.
- Analyze Option Chain, Open Interest, IV, Greeks, Price Action, Market Breadth, and Institutional Positioning to identify trading opportunities.
- Define risk management frameworks, stop-loss methodologies, and position-sizing strategies.
- Continuously monitor market developments, macro events, earnings, and volatility to refine trading strategies.
- Track and evaluate the performance of all published recommendations using measurable performance metrics.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of derivatives analysts and traders.
- Collaborate with Product, Content, Growth, and Business teams to enhance the derivatives offering and customer experience.

What We're Looking For

- 8–15+ years of experience in Derivatives Research, Options Trading, Proprietary Trading, or F&O; Advisory.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering consistent, profitable Options & Futures trading recommendations.
