Company Description Altiora Strategic LLP is building a digital trust infrastructure for diamonds, gemstones, jewellery, and other high-value luxury assets. The company combines AI-powered authentication, digital identity, and blockchain-backed provenance to create secure digital identities for physical items. Its platform enables stakeholders across the value chain to verify authenticity, establish ownership, track provenance, and access trusted asset information.
Altiora’s technology supports future use cases such as insurance, trade finance, lending, collateralization, and secondary markets. The team is focused on creating a digital layer of trust that makes luxury assets verifiable, traceable, and easier to transact.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hardware Designer role based in Surat.
The Hardware
Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronics hardware that enables secure authentication and identification of luxury assets. Day-to-day tasks include creating circuit schematics, selecting components, collaborating on PCB layout, and working closely with firmware and software teams to integrate hardware into the overall platform. The role involves building prototypes, conducting validation and reliability testing, troubleshooting hardware issues, and optimizing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
The Hardware
Designer will also contribute to documentation, support production handover, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align hardware solutions with product requirements and security standards.
Qualifications
Strong background in hardware development and hardware engineering, with experience taking designs from concept to production.
Proficiency in electronics and electronics hardware design, including component selection and system-level architecture.
Hands-on expertise in circuit design, including analog and digital circuits, power supply design, and signal integrity considerations.
Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, or similar) and collaboration with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors.
Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, sensors, and communication interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, BLE, NFC) is beneficial.
Ability to run hardware tests, debug issues using lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter), and document findings clearly.
Understanding of reliability, safety, and compliance standards relevant to electronics hardware is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a quick-paced, innovation-focused environment.
