Role Description This full-time, on-site Gynecologist role is based in Kendujhar and involves providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care to patients.

Responsibilities include conducting routine examinations, managing pregnancies, performing diagnostic assessments, and providing treatment for gynecological conditions. The role also includes performing procedures and surgeries as indicated, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care. The Gynecologist will educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and preventive care,



while adhering to clinical guidelines and maintaining high standards of safety and ethics.

Qualifications

- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (e.g., MD/MS/DNB) with valid medical council registration.
- Clinical experience in antenatal care, labor and delivery management, gynecological examinations, and common OB-GYN procedures.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and managing gynecological disorders, reproductive health issues, and women’s wellness across different age groups.
- Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to provide sensitive counseling, explain treatment options, and support informed decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating professionalism, ethical conduct, and respect for diverse backgrounds.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills, with familiarity in using medical software or electronic health records.
- Willingness to participate in emergency duties, on-call coverage, and continuous professional development activities.
- Experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred; fresh postgraduates with strong clinical training may also be considered.
