About the Role
Hightable is looking for a highly driven Strategic Partnerships, Growth & Ops Associate to help build partnerships, drive business growth, manage ecosystem relationships, and support the day-to-day execution of key initiatives.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys business development, research, networking, operations, outreach, events, and working closely with founders, investors, and senior leaders.
You will work closely with the leadership team across strategic partnerships, growth, business development, community, events, research, and operations.
Employment Terms & Compensation
- Employment Type: Full time
- Probation Period: First 3 months
- Probation Stipend: ₹20,000 per month
- Post-Probation Compensation: ₹35,000 per month
- Upon successful completion of the 3-month probation period, compensation will be revised to ₹35,000 per month, subject to a performance review.
- The probation period will be used to evaluate performance, ownership, communication, execution, and overall fit with the role.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnerships
- Identify and research potential partners across startups, VC funds, PE firms, accelerators, corporates, media, and ecosystem organizations.
- Build relationships with founders, investors, CXOs, and decision-makers.
- Support partnership proposals, discussions, negotiations, and closures.
- Maintain and grow Hightable’s strategic partnership pipeline.
- Identify opportunities for collaborations, sponsorships, and business partnerships.
Growth & Business Development
- Identify new business and growth opportunities for Hightable.
- Build prospect lists and execute email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and phone outreach.
- Qualify leads and support conversion into clients, partners, members, and event participants.
- Conduct market and competitor research.
- Track outreach, meetings, conversions, and business opportunities.
- Support the leadership team in developing new revenue opportunities.
Operations
- Support the execution of Hightable’s ongoing projects, partnerships, events, and community initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams, partners, vendors, speakers, and guests.
- Maintain databases, trackers, CRM records, reports, and project documentation.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and closure of assigned tasks.
- Help streamline internal processes and improve execution efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Community & Events
- Help grow Hightable’s founder, investor, CXO, and startup ecosystem.
- Identify and onboard relevant founders, investors, operators, mentors, and ecosystem leaders.
- Support curated events, founder-investor mixers, roundtables, and closed-door gatherings.
- Manage invitations, confirmations, outreach, follow-ups, and event coordination.
- Help create meaningful connections and business opportunities within the community.
Research & Ecosystem Intelligence
- Research startups, investors, funds, corporates, accelerators, and emerging sectors.
- Build and maintain high-quality ecosystem databases.
- Track funding activity, industry trends, partnerships, and market opportunities.
- Prepare research reports, presentations, prospect lists, and internal briefs.
What We're Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in business development, partnerships, growth, operations, community, sales, events, consulting, or startup ecosystem roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable interacting with founders, investors, CXOs, and senior professionals.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Excellent follow-up and execution skills.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and relationship building.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and CRM/project-management tools.
- Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to take ownership and work independently.
Good to Have
- Experience working with startups, VC/PE firms, accelerators, incubators, or founder communities.
- Experience in event management or ecosystem development.
- Existing network among founders, investors, operators, or startup ecosystem professionals.
- Experience with CRM, lead generation, email outreach, or LinkedIn outreach.
- Understanding of the Indian startup ecosystem.
- Strong interest in entrepreneurship, technology, venture capital, and emerging businesses.
