Group Head – Supply Chain & Procurement

✅About the Role

India's Leading Aluminum Engineering Company is seeking an experienced and strategic Group Head – Supply Chain & Procurement to lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain and procurement functions across all Group companies. The incumbent will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, strengthening supplier partnerships, optimizing inventory, reducing costs, ensuring timely availability of materials, and building a world-class supply chain to support the Company's growth and operational excellence.

✅Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the Group's procurement and supply chain strategy aligned with the Company's business plan.

Lead strategic sourcing, vendor development, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.

Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, engineering components, fabricated items, machinery, and services.

Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, supplier negotiations, and strategic purchasing.

Optimize inventory levels and working capital while ensuring uninterrupted production.

Develop a reliable vendor base with a focus on quality, cost competitiveness, and timely delivery.

Collaborate closely with Production, Design, Projects, Quality, Finance, and Sales teams to support business requirements.





Monitor supplier performance through defined KPIs and implement continuous improvement programs.

Strengthen procurement policies, systems, and internal controls to ensure transparency and compliance.

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity.

Lead logistics planning, warehousing, and material movement to improve operational efficiency.

Drive ERP-based procurement processes, digital transformation, and supply chain analytics.

Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and supply chain team.

✅Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or any Engineering discipline (Mandatory).

MBA in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Materials Management preferred.

✅Experience

18–25 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, and Materials Management.

Minimum 8–10 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or engineering organization.

Proven experience in strategic sourcing, vendor development, inventory management, logistics, and procurement of engineering materials and equipment.

✅Age: 45–50 years
