We are hiring for our client, a leading large organisation in Retail Sector

Key Roles

Group Financial Leadership:

- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for finance, accounts, treasury, taxation, audit, and financial governance across the Group and all subsidiary companies.

Financial Planning & Strategy:

- Develop and execute the Group’s long-term financial strategy, annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and financial targets in alignment with business objectives.

Group Consolidation & Reporting:

- Lead the timely and accurate consolidation of financial statements across all subsidiaries and business verticals, ensuring solid financial reporting and MIS.

Business Performance Management:

- Drive financial performance reviews across subsidiaries, identify performance gaps, and work closely with business heads to improve profitability, productivity, and returns.

Strategic Business Partner:

- Act as a key strategic advisor to the Promoters, Board, and senior management on business growth, investments, profitability, capital allocation, and major strategic decisions.

Fund Raising & Capital Management:

- Lead debt and equity fund-raising initiatives, including engagement with banks, financial institutions, investors, and other funding partners to support the Group’s expansion plans.

Working Capital Management:

- Develop strategies to optimize working capital, cash flows, receivables, inventory, payables, and overall liquidity across the Group.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

- Establish robust Group-level treasury practices and ensure effective management of cash, banking relationships, liquidity, borrowing, and interest costs.

Business Growth & Expansion:

- Partner with the leadership team to evaluate new business opportunities, expansion plans, acquisitions, investments, and strategic initiatives from financial and commercial perspectives.





Profitability & Cost Optimization:

- Drive initiatives to improve margins, optimize costs, enhance operational efficiency, and maximize shareholder value across the Group.

Risk Management & Internal Controls:

- Strengthen financial controls, risk-management frameworks, compliance systems, and governance mechanisms across all Group companies.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:

- Oversee direct and indirect taxation, statutory compliance, transfer-pricing matters where applicable, and ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.

Audit & Governance:

- Lead coordination with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other professional advisors while ensuring high standards of corporate governance and financial discipline.

Finance Transformation & MIS:

- Build a high-performing, technology-enabled finance function with standardized processes, dashboards, KPIs, automation, and timely management information for decision-making.

Leadership & Finance Team Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams across the Group, establishing strong accountability, performance culture, succession planning, and professional standards.

Education

- Professionally Qualified - CA (Mandatory)
- Addional Qualification in Finance would be a plus

Experience

- 15–20 years of progressive finance experience, including 5 years at CFO / Finance Director / BU CFO level
- Experience managing finance across multiple business verticals, subsidiaries or geographies
- Significant exposure to Retail, Consumer, FMCG, or other high-volume working-capital businesses.
- Experience dealing with Board, Audit Committee, shareholders, banks, investors and external stakeholders
