Job Summary

JC Global Refineries Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced General Manager – Sales & Business Development to lead the sales of Recycled Polymers and Polymer Compounds.

The ideal candidate must have solid experience in PP/PPCP, PPHP, HDPE, ABS, HIPS, recycled polymers and customized polymer compounds, with an established network among OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers, plastic processors and large industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales volume, revenue and contribution-margin targets.
- Develop new customers across Automotive, Appliances, Luggage, Furniture, Electrical & Electronics, Packaging and Industrial Plastics.
- Build strong relationships with OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers, injection moulders, converters and large processors.
- Develop business for PPCP, PPHP, HDPE, ABS, HIPS and customized recycled polymer compounds.
- Understand customer technical requirements including MFI, density, impact, tensile, flexural, filler and colour specifications.
- Coordinate with R&D;, Production and Quality for new grade development, samples and customer trials.
- Drive the complete conversion cycle from Enquiry → Sample → Trial → Approval → Commercial Order.
- Develop annual supply agreements and long-term strategic customer accounts.
- Manage pricing, commercial negotiations and customer/product-wise profitability.
- Monitor virgin/recycled polymer prices, competitors and market trends.
- Develop domestic and export business and identify new market opportunities.
- Lead and mentor the sales and business development team.
- Maintain CRM pipeline, sales forecasts, customer follow-ups and receivables.

Exhibitions & Business Networking





- Represent the company at major national and international plastics, polymer, recycling and circular economy exhibitions.
- Plan and lead company participation as an exhibitor, including stall planning, product presentation and customer meetings.
- Schedule meetings with OEMs, Tier-1 companies, converters, distributors and international buyers.
- Generate qualified leads and ensure post-exhibition follow-up.
- Convert exhibition leads into customer trials, product approvals and commercial orders.
- Track competitor products, technologies and market developments at exhibitions.

Candidate Requirements

- 15–20+ years of experience in Polymer / Plastics / Petrochemical / Recycling / Compounding industry.
- Strong experience in Polymer Compounding / Recycled Polymer Sales is essential.
- Strong knowledge of PP/PPCP, PPHP, HDPE and/or Engineering Plastics.
- Proven experience in OEM and Tier-1 customer development.
- Strong existing network within the plastics/polymer industry.
- Experience handling large-volume B2B/institutional sales.
- Strong technical-commercial negotiation skills.
- Experience in customer trials and new product/grade approvals.
- Exposure to export sales will be an advantage.
- Experience attending and exhibiting at major polymer/plastics exhibitions.

Preferred Qualification B.E./B.Tech – Polymer / Plastics / Chemical Engineering / CIPET preferred.

MBA – Marketing will be an added advantage.
