Position: German Language Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $30 - $65/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

- Record explicit, high-quality German audio samples to support AI model development.
- Annotate speech data, ensuring precise linguistic and phonetic accuracy.
- Contribute to the design and execution of speech data collection workflows.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on AI-generated outputs to enhance language understanding and pronunciation.
- Work collaboratively with the customer's team to maintain consistency and excellence across all tasks.
- Apply your knowledge of German phonetics and pronunciation in all aspects of the workflow.

Requirements

- Native fluency in German and deep familiarity with regional accents and nuances.




- Proficiency in annotation and speech data collection processes.
- Understanding of phonetics, pronunciation, and linguistic principles.
- Previous experience in audio recording, such as voice acting, audio engineering, podcasting, or communications, is highly valued.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for remote collaboration.
