About the Role

DNOOR Hospital is looking for an experienced and patient-focused General Physician / MBBS Doctor with 3-5 years of hospital experience to join its clinical team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care across OPD, IPD, Emergency/Casualty, and ward services including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, monitoring of admitted patients, and timely escalation or referral of critical cases.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical judgment, excellent patient-handling skills, the ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies, and a commitment to ethical, evidence-based patient care.

Key Responsibilities

1. OPD & Clinical Consultation

Conduct comprehensive OPD consultations and clinical examinations

Assess patients, identify presenting symptoms, and formulate appropriate differential diagnoses

Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions

Prescribe appropriate medication and treatment plans

Order and interpret relevant laboratory and diagnostic investigations

¢ Explain diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up requirements to patients and attendants

¢ Provide preventive healthcare and lifestyle counselling

2. IPD & Ward Management

¢ Conduct regular rounds of admitted patients

¢ Monitor patient progress, vital signs, investigations, and response to treatment

¢ Review and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated

¢ Coordinate with consultants and specialists for complex or deteriorating cases

¢ Ensure timely admission, transfer, referral, and discharge processes

¢ Prepare accurate clinical notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries

3. Emergency & Casualty Management

¢ Assess and provide immediate medical care to emergency patients

¢ Rapidly identify and stabilize critically ill patients

¢ Handle common medical emergencies, including acute respiratory distress, chest pain, seizures, altered sensorium, severe infections, uncontrolled hypertension, and hypoglycemia/hyperglycemia

¢ Initiate appropriate emergency investigations and treatment

¢ Recognize cases requiring higher-level critical care and arrange timely referral/transfer

¢ Respond promptly to emergency calls and clinical deterioration

¢ Participate in Code Blue and other emergency response procedures as required

4. Patient Monitoring & Clinical Decision-Making

¢ Monitor high-risk and medically complex patients

¢ Review investigation reports and correlate findings clinically

¢ Maintain continuity of care through proper handovers

¢ Identify early warning signs of deterioration

¢ Take timely clinical decisions within the scope of practice

¢ Escalate cases to appropriate specialists whenever required

Coordination with Hospital Teams

¢ Coordinate effectively with consultants, nursing staff, technicians, pharmacists, and other clinical departments

¢ Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the concerned consultant

¢ Work collaboratively with ICU, Emergency, Radiology, Laboratory, and other departments

¢ Ensure smooth coordination during admissions, referrals, transfers, and discharge

6. Medical Documentation

¢ Maintain accurate and timely patient records

¢ Complete case sheets, prescriptions, progress notes, and discharge summaries

¢ Ensure proper documentation of investigations, treatment, and clinical decisions

¢ Maintain confidentiality of patient information

¢ Follow hospital documentation and medical record protocols

7. Infection Control & Patient Safety

¢ Follow hospital infection-control protocols

¢ Promote safe medication and treatment practices

¢ Maintain appropriate hygiene and patient-safety standards

¢ Report adverse events and significant clinical incidents as per hospital policy

¢ Comply with applicable medical, ethical, and statutory requirements

8. Patient & Attendant Counselling

¢ Communicate professionally and empathetically with patients and their families

¢ Explain diagnosis, treatment options, investigations, and expected outcomes

¢ Counsel patients regarding medication compliance, diet, lifestyle, and preventive healthcare

¢ Handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and compassion

Eligibility Criteria

¢ MBBS from a recognized medical institution

¢ 35 years of relevant hospital/clinical experience

¢ Valid NMC / State Medical Council registration

¢ Experience in OPD and IPD patient management

¢ Experience in emergency/casualty management preferred

¢ Good communication skills in Hindi and English

¢ Willingness to work in hospital-based shifts/emergency duties as required

¢ Candidates willing to relocate to Saharanpur are encouraged to apply

Compensation: 1.00 Lakh 1.50 Lakh per Month
