The General Manager – Operations will be the senior-most leader for company’s Operations in Personal Care, Beauty Care and OTC product segments, holding complete accountability of the operations at various manufacturing facilities across India. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and leading the site to achieve strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the aerosol manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of managing P&L;, optimizing production processes, and building high-performance teams.

2. Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership:

- Develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-term strategic plans (STRAP) aligning with business growth targets.
- Oversee all aspects of site operations, including production, quality assurance, supply chain, maintenance, and administration.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence, implementing lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs.

Production & Manufacturing Management:

- Plan, direct, and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials, and minimize production downtime.
- Oversee the production process for various products ensuring batch-to-batch consistency and quality.

Quality & Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Factories Act, Labour Laws, Pollution Control norms, and PESO regulations for handling flammable solvents and LPG.
- Implement and maintain international quality and safety standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Oversee Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions,



including the preparation of SOPs, work instructions, and batch production records.

Financial & P&L; Management:

- Manage the site’s Profit & Loss (P&L;), preparing budgets, monitoring monthly financial performance, and implementing cost-control measures.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability for the site through effective operations and business development support.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing management team across production, engineering, quality, and stores.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and employee engagement, ensuring strong succession planning and talent development.

3.Key Qualifications & Experience a) Education:

Ø Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field) is required. An MBA is highly preferred.

b) Experience:

Ø Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 10 years in the aerosol, chemical, Personal Care, Beauty Care, OTC and FMCG products etc.

Ø At least 8-10 years of proven experience as a Plant Head, Factory Manager, or General Manager with full P&L; responsibility.

Ø Experience in handling LPG, flammable solvents, and adhering to PESO safety regulations is essential.

c) Technical Expertise:

Ø Deep knowledge of aerosol filling processes, formulation technology, and packaging operations are preferred.

Ø Expertise in continuous improvement tools (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma) and project management.

Ø Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L.;

4. Additional Information

Ø Location: Candidates currently residing in or willing to relocate to Aurangabad / Ch.Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra are preferred.

Ø CTC: 30-35 LPA (commensurate with experience and industry standards).
