Grow Your Staff is looking for a General Manager (Commercial Construction )

for a leading real estate and construction company based in Hyderabad. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity.

The role offers excellent growth opportunities. You will be working closely with the senior leadership team to oversee large-scale commercial construction projects in HITEC City and the Financial District. This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for driving projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality, safety, and budget compliance while coordinating with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale commercial construction projects from planning through project completion
- Oversee all phases of construction, including structural, architectural, MEP, finishing, and handover
- Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and execution plans
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle




- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent delays and cost overruns
- Review and approve contractor work, project bills, and procurement activities
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, building codes, and company policies
- Prepare regular project progress reports and present updates to senior management
- Lead, mentor, and manage project teams while driving accountability and operational excellence
- Maintain robust relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities
- Resolve project challenges effectively while ensuring smooth project execution

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 10-20 years of experience in construction project management
- Proven experience in the commercial construction segment
- Must have completed at least one full project lifecycle (structure to finishing) of a high-rise commercial or residential building
- Strong knowledge of project execution, budgeting, scheduling, quality, and safety standards
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Good understanding of statutory approvals and construction regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
