Position: General Manager

Location: Sawai Madhopur Rajbagh, Ranthambore, Rajasthan

Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry (Luxury Resort/Hotel preferred)

Role Description The General Manager role at Aaryam is a full-time, in office position based in Bharatpur.

The General

Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the property, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services, ensuring smooth functioning and high service standards. This role includes managing and mentoring the on-site team, coordinating schedules, maintaining quality, and fostering a culture of warm, professional hospitality aligned with Aaryam’s values.

The General

Manager will handle budgeting, cost control, vendor relationships, and basic administrative tasks, as well as monitor occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback to drive performance and improvements. The role also involves collaborating with central teams on marketing initiatives, local partnerships, and guest experience programs that highlight the destination’s culture and natural surroundings.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in hospitality operations or hotel/resort management,



with responsibility for multi-department oversight and guest services.
- Strong people management skills, including team leadership, training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, basic accounting, and revenue management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests, staff, and local partners.
- Ability to manage daily operational challenges, prioritize tasks, and make decisions in a fast-paced guest-facing environment.
- Comfort working in a nature-focused, destination-based hospitality setting, with attention to safety, sustainability, and local culture.
- Proficiency with common hotel management tools and office software; familiarity with property management systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in boutique, resort, or experiential travel properties in India is beneficial.
