Role Description The General Ledger Analyst R2R role is a full time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The analyst will be responsible for day-to-day general ledger activities, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy of financial records within the Record to Report (R2R) process.

The role includes preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing reports, assisting with variance analysis, and supporting internal and external audits.



The analyst will collaborate with finance and accounting teams to maintain compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards, and help improve processes and controls within the R2R function. This position offers a compensation of up to 6 LPA and is suited for professionals with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

- Strong general ledger and Record to Report (R2R) experience, including journal entry posting, account reconciliation, and month-end closing.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic taxation concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities in a structured manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA Inter, or similar) are an advantage.
- Experience in shared services or BPO/BPM finance environments is preferred but not mandatory.
